Founded in 1998, Mercury Theatre Company is a community-supported theatre company committed to serving the cultural and artistic needs of the Greater Cleveland area. Mercury Theatre Company attracts over 10,000 patrons annually – and these patrons play a significant role in the economy. Advertising in our show programs is an effective way to reach these patrons with significant disposable income for a very low cost per impression. We offer great placement and reasonable rates – and our advertisers always see a fantastic return for their investment. Contact our sales team for more information at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Advertising and promotional possibilities include playbills ads, website listings and more!
The Box Office staff talk up area restaurants, services, and attractions to our patrons during phone calls and in-person visits to the theatre.

Each summer over an eleven-week period, Mercury Theatre Company produces three full scale musicals
and one fully teen produced musical. Every February, we hold open auditions for union and non-union
performers. We seek strong singers who move well & strong dancers who sing, all types and ethnicities,
who are at least 18 years old, as well as kids as young as 8 and teens for our youth programs.
We strive to seek a balance between professionals, emerging young artists, and local Cleveland talent for
our unique mix of contemporary and classic productions.

Be an Usher
Ushering at Mercury is a great way for members of our theatre community to become even more invested by serving as Mercury ambassadors on the front-lines with our patrons. Ushers are scheduled to arrive one hour prior to the start of the show. We ask that ushers dress dress code is business casual with solid black bottoms and a sold black OR white top; no jeans, t-shirts or sneakers please. Usher responsibilities include stuffing programs, collecting tickets, seating patrons, and handing out programs. All ushers will be able to see the entire performance.
Our family of volunteer ushers is very important to the daily operations at Mercury, so all ushers must sign up in advance. We will not accept walk-ups night of show.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer usher at Mercury, please email email@example.com. You will receive information on training sessions, and must attend a session to be a part of our usher team.
Please note: Ushers are scheduled on a first come, first served basis.
Are you a student or recent college graduate interested in gaining experience in the artistic or administrative operations of the theatre? We have excellent internship opportunities. If you are interested in an internship at Mercury, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Mercury Theatre Company.
As a nonprofit organization, we rely on volunteers for many important positions at the theatre. Mercury Theatre Company seeks self-motivated individuals interested in volunteering their time and talent to a growing artistic organization. Mercury volunteers play a very significant role in the overall visitor experience. Volunteers are the face of Mercury and are expected to represent the theatre with the highest standard of respect and value.
